Philips, the manufacturer of the light activated professional whitening system, today unveiled its updated Philips ZOOM in-practice teeth whitening formula for the European market. The new Philips ZOOM whitening system is already available in the United Kingdom and will be available in the rest of the EU later this year. The Philips ZOOM six per cent Light-Activated Whitening (LAW) kit includes a new whitening protocol which can deliver visible whitening results in just one hour, with reduced sensitivity and improved luster and shine during the in-practice session.
“Philips is a leader in providing meaningful innovative products which help patients achieve a healthy, radiant smile,” says Joerg Strate, head of Global Clinical Affairs at Philips Consumer Lifestyle. “The updates to our in-practice light-activated whitening system ensure that patients have an optimal experience, with visible results both immediately following a practice visit and at-home.”
The new Philips ZOOM LAW six per cent chairside kit provides dental professionals in the UK an EU compliant chairside whitening product which delivers the quality, safety and efficacy they have come to expect from Philips. The new LAW six per cent chairside procedure comprises four 15-minute in-practice sessions using a unique six per cent whitening gel which contains ACP (Amorphous Calcium Phosphate) to help improve the smoothness of teeth. In addition to the chairside procedure, patients receive either Philips ZOOM DayWhite or NiteWhite to continue their whitening regime at home. The unique Philips ZOOM whitening system (combined chairside and take-home) ensures that patients reach their maximum desired whiteness while enhancing the luster and smoothness of their teeth for a healthy, white smile.
This Philips ZOOM LAW kit delivers the power of three: Upgraded formula for cosmetic tooth whitening with ACP, potassium nitrate and fluoride to help reduce sensitivity and enhance the luster and smoothness of teeth. The new in-practice formula is compatible with all current ZOOM lamps.
The Philips Zoom LAW kit is compliant with the new European Commission directive which prohibits the commercialization of any whitening products in the European Union containing more than six per cent hydrogen peroxide.
