Chartered Accounts JW Hinks LLP, law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys and business sales specialists Christie + Co will be holding a seminar on the practicalities and legalities of selling a dental practice at the Jurys Inn on Broad Street, Birmingham on September 24, 2015.
The evening event, which starts at 6pm, will include talks from Robin Barnes, specialist dental accountant at JW Hinks, who will discuss the financial implications of selling a practice and Clare Emery, a specialist in health and social care law from Harrison Clark Rickerbys, who will provide guidance on the potential legal issues affecting a sale.
They will be joined by Simon Hughes, director and head of medical at Christie + Co, who will look into the changing face of goodwill valuation and achieving the best price.
Speaking ahead of the seminar, Robin Barnes said: “Selling a practice maybe one of the biggest decisions a dentist can make and there are a lot of things they need to consider.
“This seminar intends to highlight some of the common problems faced by those choosing to market their practice and is aimed at putting dentists in the right frame of mind, should they choose to sell up.”
The event will also be a chance for dentists to talk to the speakers and meet with other dental professionals.
