Sponsored by GC UK and Simplyhealth, and presented by the Prosthodontic and Aesthetic Groups at King’s College London Dental Institute, The Erosive Tooth Wear Symposium, which will be held at Guy’s Campus in London on 23rd March 2018, promises to be an event not to be missed!

In a stimulating programme featuring some of the world’s leading authorities in the field including Professor David Barlett, Professor Nairn Wilson and Professor Nick Opdam, delegates will receive a comprehensive overview of the most up to date knowledge on the aetiology and treatment of erosive tooth wear.

The key objectives of the day include an understanding of diagnosis and risk assessment; restorative management and strategies in General Dental Practice; and avoiding pitfalls in restorative management.

The presentations will include presentation, diagnosis and risk assessment by Professor Nairn Wilson; Prevention of tooth wear by Saoirse O’Toole; Reflux and erosive tooth wear by Rebecca Moazzez; Occlusal adaptation and the restorative management of tooth wear by Subir Banerji; Application of resin composite for the patient with tooth wear and indirect resin restoration to treat tooth wear - The Netherlands experience by Professor Nick Opdam and Bas Loomans; Management of the anterior aesthetic zone – composite and the UK experience by Shamir Mehta; Digital technology and tooth wear by Rupert Austin; Restoring with ceramics by Richard Porter; and, finally but not least, the King’s experience by Professor David Barlett. All combining together these presentations will deliver arguably the most comprehensive programme on this challenging subject.
