The Clinic has been devised to be a ‘neutral zone’ that enables dentists to offer care to patients on a session by session basis. It is particularly suitable for more complex cases where an onsite aesthetic laboratory will be of greatest benefit. The Clinic is fitted out to the highest specifications and is situated within the state-of-the-art Luke Barnett Centre. The launch of The Clinic has also led to new branding with the Laboratory, Clinic, Precision Coping Company and Tray Production all coming under the Luke Barnett Centre umbrella.
The launch saw local dentists and some of the key opinion leaders in UK dentistry get a chance to view the facilities, speak to Luke and his team about the services on offer, and see a short presentation all whilst enjoying a glass of champagne and canapés.
Guy McLellan, resident dental implant specialist, was on hand to talk about his role at The Clinic as well as Melonie Prebble who will be offering hygiene and therapy services. Dentists are able to refer relevant patients to both of these experts. In addition to a full implant placement service, Guy is also working with dentists on a refer and restore basis so that they are able to restore the implant themselves. Mel explained to those assembled that her presence at The Clinic allowed local dentists to take advantage of hygienist and therapist services without fear of losing patients.
Luke commented, “The Clinic is the embodiment of a long held vision. That the highest quality dentistry can be carried out in high specification surroundings, with the latest technology and all centred around patient care and comfort. I would like to hear from any dentists that want to know more about The Clinic and working with us.”
