Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH) is offering a new course, through The IDH Academy, providing practical training in the use of rotary endodontic files. The course aims to bring IDH dentists up to speed on the new endodontic file system, which will allow for cutting-edge root treatments with improved accuracy and speed.
The training will allow dentists to carry out treatments on patients within the surgery, reducing costly referrals to specialists.
The one-day, hands on, course has already been undertaken by over 200 IDH dentists across the country at a reduced rate. In 2014 the course will also be made available for external dentists. It offers quick, comprehensive training, provides up-to-date industry knowledge and the opportunity to develop and improve endodontic treatment.
Noemi Banhidi, an IDH dentist who took part in the course at The IDH Academy in Manchester, says “I thought the training was great, it was very practical and the trainers were really entertaining and engaging. I’m much more confident when performing root treatments because I really like the Sendoline system. It means results are more predictable and it is very easy to use as everything is pre-set, I only have to press one button.”
Steve Williams, clinical director at IDH, says, “The Academy aims to teach dentists the skills that help them provide the best care for patients. The rotary endo training is another example of our continued efforts to produce industry-leading dentists with a passion for technological developments that heighten the patient experience. I am very pleased we can now offer the rotary system for all our NHS and private patients to enhance their outcomes.”
