Daring staff from Oasis Dental Care, a UK leader in private and specialist dentistry and a major provider of NHS services, have helped raise over £6,500 for charity by completing one of the UK’s toughest mud runs.

The 21-strong party which included the company’s CEO Justin Ash, members of staff and their families took on the Wolf Run endurance event in Warwickshire on behalf of Bridge2Aid – Oasis’s chosen charity which provides emergency dentistry to those throughout the world without access to proper dental care.

Dressed as their favourite superheroes to inspire them, the team tackled muddy tunnels, swamps, monkey bars and a giant water slide on their way to completing the gruelling 10 kilometre course, having spent numerous lunch hours, evenings and weekends in training.

Justin Ash, CEO of Oasis said: “To have raised such a large sum for Bridge2Aid is a fantastic achievement and we know the money will be very well spent helping disadvantaged people in East Africa receive vital dental care. This latest event is one of many we are working with the charity on to raise crucial funds.

“We would like to thank all of the friends, family and supporters who sponsored us, in particular our associates Bridgepoint Capital who made a very generous donation of £5,000 which took us way beyond what we expected to raise.

“The team had a fantastic time competing in the event, despite a few sore legs on Monday morning.”
