Tim Forde, representing chartered accountants TGFP, will be speaking to the delegates on tax efficiency and tax mitigation opportunities, an area that is of importance to dentists in the current economic downturn.
Also joining Tim will be Michael White from Smith & Williamson Financial Services, who has extensive experience advising a range of high net worth clients in all aspects of financial planning. Michael has advised many healthcare clients and has presented a series of retirement planning seminars to large groups of eminent medical professionals.
Key note speakers also include Conrad Hoy, a healthcare banking consultant from Lloyds TSB who has expert knowledge in the field of practice acquisition funding, and Colin Witherall, senior partner at Alsters Kelley. Colin has years of experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer and is currently involved in over 20 major health centre developments.
The seminar has been created to provide a holistic ‘business solution’ resource in one intensive evening session. Many dental professionals find themselves at a stage in their careers where they either need to plan ahead for retirement or want to expand their operations and improve the financial wellbeing of their practices.
TGFP’s Tim Forde, says: ‘Dentists are busy professionals. I am sure most of them would profess that they concentrate most of their time on the delivery of the clinical end of the business. Their priority is delivering high levels of patient care and they have little time to seek legal and financial advice and think about strategies for growth and retirement. We feel the seminar is offering a huge ‘professional services’ resource under one roof and in one intensive session.’
