Ashvin Babbar impressed the judges with his outstanding professional values, responsibility and personal qualities which lead to him being described as a role model. St Helen’s Dental Practice demonstrated their positive team approach, clear understanding of risk management issues and that they had their patients’ best interests at heart.
Kevin Lewis, Dental Director at Dental Protection, said:
“The Premier Symposium Dental Awards were created to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work that is undertaken by both dental practices and dental students in order to manage their risk.
“St Helen’s Dental Practice and Ashvin Babbar impressed our judges with their professionalism and patient-focussed approach, and are both excellent examples for the dental sector.”
Meredyth Bell, Principal Dental Surgeon at St Helen’s Dental Practice, said:
“We are thrilled to have won this award. It shows the commitment and care that my team provided to each and every patient in the practice. It is so important to get the team onside and working together on agreed systems. We have regular team meetings where we all get together and everything is discussed. I learnt long ago, without everyone on board, it simply won’t work.”
