The autumn season kicks off this October with a series of day long Align Technology accredited courses focussing on Invisalign Go, run by two of the country’s foremost Invisalign experts: Raman Aulakh and Barry Buckley. A parallel session for practice managers is being run in association with Laura Horton of Horton Consulting. The company has announced that Sandeep Kumar, who created the MiSmile network of Invisalign focused clinics, will be joining the star studded line up to share his expertise about practice development.
When launching his first dental clinic in 2007, Sandeep recognised the potential to harness Invisalign’s consumer appeal and value to differentiate his practice. He implemented a highly successful lead generation and nurturing process and grew his Invisalign case submissions from just seven in the first year, to 400 cases in 2015; by 2016, he is one of the few UK practitioners who have successfully treated over 1,500 patients with Invisalign. His vision amplified in 2014, when Sandeep successfully launched the inaugural MiSmile clinic in Birmingham as the first solely Invisalign focussed and branded dental practice in the UK, and in 2015, following the success of his first MiSmile practice, he launched The MiSmile Network after innumerable requests by other practitioners to learn the secret of his success. In the first year since setting up the network Sandeep and his team doubled Invisalign case submissions across the group.
Course delegates will experience a blended learning approach which combines clinical and practical learning with hands-on Invisalign training. The programme, which has been endorsed by Align Technology, has been created to help GDPs develop the requisite dexterity and acumen to extend their practices to treat patients with the advanced clear aligner system. The course is also designed to give accompanying practice staff the skills and confidence to actively engage with potential Invisalign patients.
However the day long course is just the start of the process, as ongoing support is part of the package, ensuring that GDPs have the skills to treat patients with Invisalign from day one. The package includes free mentorship by Raman Aulakh and Barry Buckley, free access to a dedicated forum; and free advice and support.
The autumn season kick off in Bristol on October 8, and also visits London, Newcastle, Manchester up until November 28. A more extensive programme is being created for 2017. Because of its interactive nature and hands-on element, course places are limited to 40 dentists and 40 accompanying practice managers – and some sessions are already proving particularly popular.
The course for GDP and practice manager costs £595 (with no added VAT, but no discount for one person) which includes ongoing mentoring, forum access and support. Dentists keen to secure a place at their first choice venue and date need to register online at www.alignerconsulting.com
