Oral care specialist launches accessible toothbrushes

29 October 2024

Ordo has launched a range of accessible toothbrush handle adaptors, specifically designed to help those with dexterity challenges such as arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.

The innovation aims to help relieve pain and create a better brushing experience for anyone struggling with their oral health care routine.

Ordo’s accessories range can be tailored to each individual to suit their specific dexterity needs. The brand has said it is committed to helping everyone access affordable, high-quality oral care for everyday use. Users can choose the dimension, shape, texture and colour of their adaptor, with up to 54 custom handles available.

The accessories range is made sustainably using recycled bioplastic and smart 3D printing technology. Ordo has said this allows users to feel confident that they are making good choices for themselves and the planet. The products are also created locally, keeping carbon footprint to a minimum.

Barty Walsh, CEO at Ordo, said, "Ordo was founded to deliver exceptional oral care to as many people as possible. From the start we have developed our products directly with people that have a diverse range of dental and accessibility needs.

“The new accessories range has allowed us to address specific feedback given to us by customers with dexterity challenges and to provide customised products that will help to improve their oral care experience."
