Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was not possible to hold the annual British Dental Editors and Writers Forum/ British Dental Association New Writers’ Workshop last year.
However, this year (unless travel and other restrictions are introduced again) the workshop will be taking place on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, staring at 11am and will be held at the BDA, 64 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8YS.
The programme for the day will cover the following aspects:
- Getting your submission right: hints and tips
- The peer review process and the importance of reviewers
- Group work reviewing a paper
- Why editors reject papers
- Open access, funding and Plan S
- Publication ethics
The fee for the workshop is £40 for BDEWF members, £65 for non-BDEWF members and £20 for full-time under and postgraduate students. The fee includes lunch, tea and coffee.
