New chairman

Kathryn Woolass has been announced as the new chairman of the board of Dentists’ Provident.

Kathryn takes over from Martin Mace, chairman of the society since 1998 and a member of the board since 1982. Although Martin has retired from the role of chairman, he will remain a member of the board for a further year.

Kathryn Woolass has been a non-executive director of Dentists’ Provident since 1984 and has also served on the Audit and Risk Committees. She is a specialist orthodontic practitioner in South Yorkshire, an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons for the diploma in orthodontic therapy and past treasurer and chair of the Rotherham Local Dental Committee.   

The board and staff of Dentists’ Provident wished Kathryn every success in her new role.
