National Forum

30 August 2013
Volume 29 · Issue 5

The Forum is a unique one-day event consisting of two parallel streams of stimulating lectures, one surgical and the other restorative.

On Saturday November 9, 2013 at the Royal College of Physicians, London, this stimulating event is exclusive to ADI members, and will provide seven hours of verifiable CPD as well as a great opportunity to network, meet old friends and make new ones.

Lecture titles include ‘Soft and hard tissue reconstruction of a severely deficient site prior to implant placement’ and ‘Acrylic, composite or ceramic – some considerations for full arch prostheses’.

Following the Members’ National Forum, the ADI is holding its 25th Anniversary Dinner at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge to celebrate the Association’s contribution to dental implant education over the past 25 years. All Members are welcome to join and celebrate the special Anniversary with the ADI team at the evening dinner.

President Cemal Ucer says:

“This unique event provides Members with superb lectures as well as a great opportunity to participate in the life of our successful and vibrant organisation. There will be lectures on a wide spectrum of implantology fields including complications, maintenance, flap design, sinus surgery, restorative treatment of the edentulous jaws: overdentures, hybrid bridges, restorative materials and options. I look forward to welcoming all our members from Past Presidents and Committees to newly joined members.”

The ADI’s AGM will be held during the event, which will include a review of the previous year and will give Members an opportunity to ask any questions they might have about developments at the Association.

There will also be a small number of interesting Poster Board presentations on practice-related studies and implant research which will be accessible for delegates to view during break times.

The Forum is open to ADI members only. If you wish to apply for ADI membership to attend this event, and also to enjoy many other substantial membership benefits, please visit www.adi.org.uk to download an application form. More details on the Members’ National Forum will soon be available on the ADI website.
