Morley practice relocates following £1.8m investment

14 February 2025

Mydentist, a dental care provider, has undertaken a significant merge and relocation of its Morley practices following a £1.8m investment.

The Mydentist Morley practice, which is now located on Queen Street, was officially launched by practice manager Sarah Stephenson and her team, on February 11, 2025.

After a project lasting over three years, all the dentists and staff from the previous Morley sites have relocated to the new site, where patient appointments are underway.

Sarah said, "I am delighted to reveal the new facilities and flexibility of appointment times that we can now offer to our patients. With our recent enhancements and expanded services, we're well placed to deliver a higher level of dental care and provide an even more exceptional experience to our community. The new practice is across one floor, making it more accessible for patients living with a disability or limited mobility, too.”

“In a climate where accessing NHS dentistry is a challenge due to the shortage of dentists nationally, we’re really pleased to have been able to recruit new dentists and ultimately expand our NHS capacity in the near future. We look forward to welcoming patients into the practice over the coming weeks and months."

The move marks a substantial enhancement for the 15,000 patients of Mydentist in the community of Morley, who will benefit from a state-of-the-art practice, a greater range of dental treatments and technology, as well as improved travel links and wheelchair and disabled access.

The new clinic has 10 surgeries and offers a range of services to its patients – including NHS dental care, affordable private treatment options, hygiene, and aesthetic services.

The practice has recruited six new support team members and a further six dentists, allowing it to expand its future NHS availability for the community of Morley. The clinic also has room to expand to 15 surgeries in the future.

Nicola Wood, Mydentist area development manager, commented, “We’ve been working very hard to relocate to a more accessible site in Morley for just over three years, so to see the new practice finally open is fantastic. With 10 modern surgeries, we now have much more choice for patients, plus our team are benefitting from improved facilities. Our aim was to meet the needs of our patients and our team here in Morley now and in the future, and feedback so far has been extremely positive.”

“We know that accessing dental care in this region is difficult which is why we’re delighted to have been able to recruit six new dentists, allowing us to open up more NHS availability to the community of Morley. We are also pleased to be able to offer {my}options, an alternative way to access a dentist when you need one, with options to spread the cost of your treatment.”
