The Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) has launched a new programme of clinical update days entitled ‘Dentistry in a Day’.

Dentistry in a Day complements the FGDP(UK)'s existing portfolio of highly successful and highly regarded courses. Each information packed day will act as a refresher on the essentials of clinical practice, as well as introducing attendees to the latest concepts, technology, and techniques. Each day will also afford attendees an opportunity to participate in lively and interactive case based discussions.

Leading experts will deliver the Dentistry in a Day programme at the Royal College of Surgeons in Central London.

The first three training days will focus on:

  • Removable Prosthodontics – September 16, 2016
  • New Techniques in Restorative Dentistry – October 14, 2016
  • Implants: Challenges in Management, Maintenance & Monitoring – November 11, 2016

Mick Horton, dean of FGDP(UK), said, “In tandem with our existing portfolio of educational courses, I’m delighted to announce that the Faculty is introducing a new programme of training days entitled Dentistry in a Day, which will allow busy dental practitioners and their teams to update their skills and knowledge. The Dentistry in a Day programme will focus on areas of direct clinical relevance and will be delivered by leading experts in the dental arena. The FGDP(UK)  is committed to supporting the career long professional development of dental professionals, and Dentistry in a Day is structured to support this aim.”
