John Lennon's tooth is gaining global recognition. As is its role in fighting Oral Cancer.

Let me explain...

This campaign put together by Marketing Pirates of Dentistry and Yar Zuk is just one of the many initiatives its members enjoy.

The group is always seeking new, exciting, and meaningful ways of turning the public on to tooth care.

Chris Branfield a member of Marketing Pirates of Dentistry said,

"The group is always looking for things online and they were looking for something to do with the Beatles for their 50th anniversary."

Hull dentist Chris further said, "It's a mad group but it's about making connections with people."

Castle Park Dental Care, Cottingham is the first in the UK to host Lennon's tooth.

And just as important, staff dressed up as hippies for a day to celebrate. This can only help to increase motivation and retention of the team.

"People don't expect it when they go to the dentist," Chris said. "We had fun with it. The customers loved it and there are loads of videos."
