Practices attain Gold Membership by maintaining Good Practice Scheme member status for ten consecutive years.

The British Dental Association is this year marking the first 200 dental practices achieving Gold Membership of its Good Practice Scheme.

The achievement is being recognised through a celebratory publication that includes a profile of all practices with Gold Membership, which range from small rural establishments to large inner-city practices.

The practices are also being invited to attend an exclusive celebration at this year’s British Dental Conference and Exhibition at which they will have their achievement formally recognised and be presented with their own copy of the celebratory brochure. The event will be led by incoming BDA President Dr Barry McGonigle.

Speaking ahead of the event later this month Dr McGonigle said:

“A practice’s membership of the BDA’s Good Practice Scheme demonstrates its whole team’s commitment to high standards, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and the pursuit of excellence.

“The practices that we are celebrating this year have not only achieved the required standards for membership of the Scheme, they have maintained them for ten years. This is a significant accomplishment and I offer my sincere congratulations to them all.”
