Ivoclar Vivadent UK & Ireland has announced the return of world renowned removable expert, Jiro Abe, who will be delivering a course on his Suction Effective Mandibular Complete Denture (SEMCD) impression technique.

The unique event will be hosted by the leading dental manufacturer in the world-famous Natural History Museum, London, on October 24, 2017.

The course will cover in-depth clinical and technical explanations of Abe’s suction procedure, including advanced and difficult-to-treat cases as well as live clinical demonstrations which highlight a new technique for achieving suction and stability on a lower denture. His insight into the use of BPS Clinical and technical approaches will also give clinicians confidence and renewed enthusiasm in removables.

Abe hopes that his suction denture impression taking method will reach global audiences. In support of this, he has written a complete guide to ‘Mandibular Suction-Effective and BPS’, which he will also touch upon during the day.

The SEMCD impression technique is taught exclusively through Ivoclar Vivadent UK & Ireland’s qualified and certified instructors, Carl Fenwick, CDT and technical specialist removable, commented, “Last year’s event with Dr Abe was one of the major highlights of our course calendar and there is a lot of excitement about this upcoming lecture; the venue is fantastic and the course will be particularly beneficial for those already using the SEMCD technique.”

Tickets for the one-day course, which is also verifiable for eight hours CPD, are priced at £350 plus VAT. Full details can be found at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/dr-jiro-abe-identure-suction-effective-mandibular-complete-denture-tickets-35931545219?aff=ehomecard
