Dr Paul Weigl, scientific chairman of the Congress, explains that the focus this year is on the modern dental practice, which is “more and more focusing on integrating implantology, based on excellent communication and cooperation within a big team.” The programme includes a series of lectures from renowned international speakers as well as a variety of focus sessions, a poster and video competition, and the chance to find out more about products and solutions from the comprehensive Dentsply Sirona portfolio, which will all be on show.
This year, the congress will be held at theEstrel Congress Centre in Berlin, a modern, fully-equipped centre in a convenient location. The event starts at 1pm on Friday 29 with an opening ceremony and then straight into the first plenary session, entitled Implant Therapy and the Virtual Patient with Dr Weigl. Further sessions on implant design, patient-focused implant dentistry, minimally invasive protocols and much more will come to a close at the end of the day on Saturday 30, asking the question “Why digital? Why now?”
Dr Weigl added, “Implant dentistry is based on clinical experience, manual skills and new scientific insights that enable new treatment protocols and overcoming challenges, and ultimately a long-term contribution to oral health. In Berlin, you will experience all this for a successful future with Ankylos.”
