Visitors to the Roland DG stand at the upcoming International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne (Hall 3.1 Booth L030/M029) are invited to discover the exciting clinical and commercial benefits of CAD/CAM in modern day dentistry and discover why so many dental professionals worldwide choose Roland DG milling machines as part of their open system digital dental workflow.

In addition to showcasing some exciting product innovations in its range, Roland DG will be demonstrating the popular DWX51-D 5-axis dental milling machine, highlighting its reliability and ability to dry mill popular composite resins, zirconia, PEEK and other materials.  

Also on display will be the DWX-4W dedicated wet mill, ideal for fast, precision cutting of glass ceramics and composite resins, producing crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers at high speed thanks to its Jaeger DentaDrive spindle and simultaneous 4-axis milling.

During the event, two internationally renowned speakers will be representing Roland DG as part of the programme of lectures on the IDS prestigious Speakers’ Corner.

On Wednesday, March 22, at 10.30am, Nelson Silva will be presenting ‘CAD/CAM 360º: Dental Office Workflow’. Nelson Silva is a professor of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Federal University of Minas Gerais School of Dentistry in Brazil. His lecture will be based around his experiences in researching routes to successful aesthetic restorations and implants using CAD/CAM, both in the laboratory and clinically.

On Friday, March 24, at 10am, master dental technician Jan Schünemann, an internationally recognised lecturer and one of the key opinion leaders in the field of creating lifelike aesthetic restorations using the latest materials and techniques, will be presenting ‘How to implement CAD/CAM to achieve the highest aesthetic results’. Based in Bielefeld, Germany, Jan Schünemann established his respected technical training institute in 1989.

These specialists will also be on the booth throughout the show to answer any questions and share their experiences of successfully integrating digital dental technology into their businesses. The seminar schedule and speaker line up will be announced shortly.

To celebrate Roland DG’s presence at the show, the company is hosting a ‘Happy Hour’ party on its booth on Thursday, March 23, from 4pm. Roland invites its valued customers and industry partners who are attending the show to join them for refreshments while enjoying musical entertainment and the chance to network with key opinion leaders and industry experts.
