Running alongside his close friend Tom Kemp, the pair are determined to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity that supported Tom’s daughter, Darcey, during her battle with a rare form of cancer.
A cause close to the heart
Darcey was diagnosed with cancer at just 18 months old. During her treatment, she required a full blood transfusion and received crucial support from Children with Cancer UK. Darcey is now in remission, and both Greg and Tom are eager to give back to the charity that played such a key role in her journey.
Greg said, “This isn’t just about running 26.2 miles. It’s about making a difference. Seeing what Tom’s family went through and knowing how much this charity does for children facing cancer has inspired us to push ourselves and raise as much as possible.”

Supporting life-saving work
Children with Cancer UK is dedicated to improving survival rates and supporting young patients and their families. The charity funds pioneering research and provides essential services to help children through treatment, with the hope of one day eradicating childhood cancer.
Tom said, “Every donation makes a real impact. Without the support of charities like this, many families would be left without the help they desperately need.”
