Dental practice to open in Watford town centre

03 May 2024

A local dentist has announced plans to open a new dental practice in Watford. He aims to prove “accessible, affordable care” to the residents.

Sanjay Rayarel has bought and refurbished a former office building near Watford Junction to create a new clinic.

Speaking to the Watford Observer, Sanjay said, “We want to provide good care, want to help people and want to make it affordable.

“It will provide the public with accessible, affordable care, which is what I’ve done all my life.”

Sanjay has over 25 years of experience in dentistry and has previously run practices in Aylesbury and Milton Keynes.

The new practice, Junction Dental, will be fitted with the latest digital equipment.

He has also contacted the NHS about taking on a small contract, but no contracts are currently available in the area.

Sanjay added that some of the treatment prices available at Junction Dental might be cheaper than those of the NHS. For example, he said an emergency assessment could cost £25 and “a check-up with two X-rays being £35”.

Junction Dental will be officially open for business from May 7, 2024.
