Kiroku, a dental note-taking software provider, has announced its partnership with PortmanDentex. The collaboration aims to enhance clinical efficiency across PortmanDentex’s 375 practices, supporting more than 2,400 dental professionals across the UK and Ireland.

Kiroku’s software allows dental professionals to quickly create robust notes. Using the latest ambient AI and voice technology, notes are written up based on in-room discussions, without clinicians and nurses needing to spend additional time on documentation.

Hannah Burrow, CEO and co-founder of Kiroku, said, “Our partnership with PortmanDentex underlines our commitment to transforming clinical record-keeping. We're excited to see our AI-assisted voice technology give PortmanDentex clinicians hours of their time back, so that they can focus on patient care.”

PortmanDentex has an established network providing care to 1.5m patients each year, and said it prioritises technology that supports excellence and patient-centred care. By giving clinicians access to Kiroku’s software, PortmanDentex aims to enhance record-keeping compliance while maintaining high standards in patient interactions.

Cathal Hayes, head of clinical transformation and strategy at PortmanDentex, said, "PortmanDentex is excited to partner with Kiroku to bring an innovative, AI-powered note-taking solution to our clinicians. Kiroku will help save our clinicians time while ensuring notes are thorough and fully compliant, allowing our teams to focus more on patient care.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to providing cutting-edge tools that enhance clinical effectiveness and reduce administrative burdens. By working with Kiroku, we’re simplifying workflows and supporting a higher standard of patient care across our network.”
