Changes in the way clients want their legal services to be provided means there is a need to constantly evolve and continuously improve; embracing technology and new laws and regulations in all sectors.

Else Solicitors take pride in providing a personal, professional and practical approach. They are currently celebrating a decade of supporting companies and individuals find simple and cost-effective solutions to their legal issues.

Jonathan from Else Solicitors says: “We work by providing and showing clients our personal approach, remaining sensitive to their needs, and building and sustaining a good rapport in person, over the telephone and via email or Skype. We will happily visit potential clients in their own surroundings to understand their business, practice or individual requirements and show that we are approachable at all times.”

Dental law is a key area of the firm’s business moving forward and Jonathan acts for dentists the length and breadth of England and Wales in relation to practice sales and purchases, practice incorporations, partnership and expense sharing agreements and all other aspects of owning, managing, running and buying or selling of a dental practice. Dental law is not the firm’s only specialisation though – other niche fields include construction and sports and entertainment law and they are developing in other sectors such as healthcare, children’s nurseries, the brewing industry and banking

Ultimately, providing a range of legal services is by no way unique; what marks Else Solicitors out is the firm-wide culture to be the best and provide excellent quality client care in all areas of law in which they practice.

In addition, the firm takes building client rapport very seriously. It has always worked at making connections via effective networking and helping its clients and business contacts meet one another in a non-sales environment. This has evolved into twice monthly professional network lunch events where they host and entertain between 40-60 guests at each event in relaxing environments in Staffordshire and the West Midlands where they can benefit from each other’s services.

This evolutionary approach is at least partly the result of the firm’s decision to invest in the professional skills of a marketing manager who has been responsible for branding a new website and client brochures to celebrate the firm’s decade in business. In addition, the firm has always worked at forging long-standing relationships with all of its clients and contents.

These niche specialisms, branding and evolutionary approach help Else Solicitors stand out from the crowd in its local markets and across the UK. As the firm continues to grow, the combination of branding, niche specialisms and a refreshing approach will become even more important when competing with the larger legal firms in the UK.

However, branding only goes so far. “Although we see the importance of branding we strongly believe our clients expect a quality service and that we complete their matter in the most effective way to meet their specific needs,” explains Jonathan. “Doing a good job hopefully means they will want to use our services in the future and will have the confidence to recommend us to their peers.”

It certainly seems to be working, Else Solicitors is growing: in 2013 alone they have taken on four new lawyers and continued to grow all other areas of the firm including corporate and commercial, commercial property and construction. Looking ahead to 2014 they are planning to continue to build on their niche specialist practice areas, such as dental law, while looking for opportunities that will complement the firm’s core services.

Jonathan adds: “We do not anticipate any radical changes to our structure or core service offerings. However, we will continue to embrace any new changes in technology, laws and regulations that may affect our clients and the way in which we and our clients operate, ultimately our aim is to continue to provide an outstanding quality service.”
