That is why the BACD encouraged dental students across the country to take part in its Rising Star Essay competition earlier this year.
And the results are now in!
After receiving a wide range of excellent essays, the BACD is delighted to congratulate Hemani Bubber from the University of Birmingham on winning first place. Submitting an in-depth and insightful essay, Hemani impressed the BACD panel with her knowledgeable discussion on modern digital technology and cosmetic techniques. She wins a complimentary place at this year’s BACD Annual Conference and a year’s BACD Student Membership.
Congratulations are also in order for Sana Askary from University College Cork, Sahil Patel, from the University of Bristol, and Lydia Sharples from Leeds Dental School who are this year’s runners up.
The BACD is excited and encouraged by the level of knowledge and understanding displayed in all of this year’s submissions.
