The KClinic is a private dental practice that occupies a modern property in Knutsford town centre. It currently operates out of two surgeries.
The practice was set up by Steve Day in 2009, focusing on high-quality family dentistry and aesthetic treatments. He decided to sell to reduce responsibilities but will remain at the practice as an associate.
The practice has been sold to first-time buyer Marcin Piekara, following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson, a director at Christie & Co. Funding was sourced through Stephen McConalogue at Christie Finance.
Jonathan said, “I have been working with Steve for some time identifying the perfect partner to take on his legacy. He has a stunning private practice in the centre of Knutsford, and it was important to him to find the right buyer to take the practice to the next level.
“I am excited to see the practice expand under Marcin’s leadership and am confident it will be a real success story in years to come. We have seen a fair shift in buyer appetite towards the private sector in recent years, and this is the latest example of private practices with growth potential being sold to first-time buyers.”
Stephen commented, “It was great to support another client within the dental sector. It was a real team effort with Jonathan to get the deal over the line after several hurdles in the critical stages with the process of the purchase. Bank appetite within the dental sector remained positive throughout 2024, with a lot of independents buying their first practices as the availability of funding shifted and corporate buyers took a bit of a step back. We expect this trend to continue in 2025.”
The KClinic was sold for an undisclosed price.
