The Oral Health Foundation has received a generous donation from Tepe UK to helpsupport its Mouth Cancer Action campaign.

Tepe UK raised £1,200 for the oral health charity by taking part in the Moveit4smiles pedometer challenge and by making a donation instead of giving Christmas cards to colleagues and customers.

A cheque was presented to the Oral Health Foundation during the opening of Tepe’s new UK headquarters in Wells, Somerset.

The generous donation will go towards the Oral Health Foundation’s Mouth Cancer Action campaign and will be vital in helping to spread awareness and education of mouth cancer around the United Kingdom.

Tepe’s UK General Manager, Jayne Lunnon, discussed their fundraising work, “We are very proud that our relatively small team managed to collectively notch up just under 200,000 steps in a five day period, as part of Moveit4smiles pedometer challenge, in order to support this valuable initiative.

“We are always delighted to be able to support Mouth Cancer Action, the work they do in raising awareness of issues around mouth cancer, such as gender neutral HPV vaccinations, is important to reducing number of mouth cancer cases in the UK.”
