Challenge of a life time

07 July 2014
Volume 29 · Issue 10

John Grant and Simon Tucker are taking on the challenge-of-a-lifetime this October. They will be cycling well over 300 miles through Costa-Rica and Nicaragua for the Norwood Charity.

Every year Norwood enables thousands of people to change their lives, one by one.

Norwood supports people with learning disabilities and children and families in need.  They believe people should live the life they choose and work with individuals to change their lives and achieve their goals.

They provide vital, personalised services to the Jewish community and to people in the wider community in London and the South East.

Delivered by 1200 staff and supported by 800 dedicated volunteers, these services are divided into Children and Family Services and Adult Services.

Both John & Simon have paid their own costs to attend the Challenge as they wanted any sponsorship to go directly to the charity and see the event as a personal achievement and hopefully a very good time.

They would, of course, be delighted to receive any contributions to their efforts to raise as much as possible for Norwood. If you feel able to sponsor either of them, please go to their individual donation pages:
