Taking place in July 2013, students will have the opportunity to work in Tanzania for two weeks on an organised programme and have the chance to take part in the Dental Training Programme, as part of a team, with volunteer dentists and DCPs from the UK. The aim of the placement is to provide students with knowledge and experience of the planning and provision of oral care in a developing country. They will work closely with B2A clinical and project staff and be mentored throughout.
In their search for the ideal candidates, Henry Schein Minerva and B2A are working closely with five key dental universities, and to further support students in their studies and future career, Henry Schein Minerva will provide a £350 grant to all successful candidates.
The closing date for application is October 29 2012. Competition for places will be high as there are only six places available, so students need to register their interest now! This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity for students to make a difference and be apart of this exclusive programme.
