Bupa has announced the acquisition of nine new practices bringing the total number of sites acquired this year to fourteen.

Stretching from Southampton to Northern Ireland, the latest acquisitions are key to Bupa’s strategy to provide high quality dental care to customers in the UK and Ireland. In 2017, Bupa acquired Oasis dental care, and now operates over 470 dental practices across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The recent announcements include Morrison Shenfine Holdings, which owns four practices across the North of England. Other practices include MyDental in Ballsbridge, Dublin, Dental Excellence in Harewood, Leeds, Dental Confidence in Southampton, Martin Dental Care in Shawlands, Glasgow and Lodwig Villa Dental Practice in Bangor.

Commenting on the news Catherine Barton, general manager for Bupa Dental Care, said, “With steady forecast growth, we’re confident in the long-term success of the dental market. As such we’re keen to expand our network so that we can offer quality care to even more customers, and so I’m delighted to welcome these new practices.
