Better flossing just got better

There is now the most innovative interdental cleaning device for those who don’t floss, which removes five times more interproximal plaque.

Philips introduces a new improved Sonicare AirFloss which two years ago Philips (the original) revolutionised the way people cleaned interproximally when it introduced the Sonicare AirFloss.  This interproximal cleaning device effectively, yet gently, removes plaque in hard-to-reach interproximal areas, making it easy for patients who do not floss to reduce gingivitis and improve gum health.

Since its launch Philips has sold over 2m Sonicare AirFloss worldwide and the device has also won a trophy cabinet full of awards in recognition of its efficacy and design ingenuity. It also achieved accreditation from the British Dental Health Foundation.

However Philips is not a company to rest on its laurels and it sought ways to make the device even better. The new Philips Sonicare AirFloss uses the same proprietary air and micro-droplet technology which dispenses rapid bursts of air and water droplets between teeth to remove plaque and bacteria. It removes up to five times more plaque than manual brushing alone and three out of four dental practitioners surveyed said AirFloss is easier to use than a leading oral irrigator.
