An exciting line up

It may still be months away, but the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s (BACD) Annual Conference is already turning heads.

This is in no small part due to the exceptional line up of internationally renowned speakers that have already been confirmed for the event. As always, the BACD strives to bring delegates the very best educational opportunities possible, from speakers who are at the very top of their respective fields – and November’s conference is no different.

This year’s event will focus on ‘The Digital Revolution’ and aims to provide delegates with a crucial insight into how modern technology can easily be integrated into everyday practice. This ranges from how delegates can use digital photography to document and showcase their cases, to how digital workflows can be utilised in order to optimise clinical results.

These exciting topics will be presented by the professionals who have already excelled at bringing these state of the art techniques into practice, and are in the ideal position to pass their experience and understanding on to the rest of the dental community. Already confirmed are:

  • Dennis Hartleib,
  • Jordi Manauta,
  • Julian Caplan,
  • Professor Antonio Cerutti,
  • Florin Cofar,
  • Gary Takacs,
  • Andrew Dawood,
  • Jay Lerner,
  • Elaine Halley,
  • Peter van Der Meulen

Undoubtedly a diverse and highly anticipated line up, the BACD will be continuing to announce speakers throughout the year – so be sure to watch this space!

As with previous annual conferences, the first day of the BACD conference will be dedicated to a number of dynamic hands-on sessions. These provide delegates with a practical insight into some of today’s most exciting cosmetic dental techniques.

Delegates will then be able to compound this practical knowledge with two full days of lectures and seminars, looking at every aspect of modern cosmetic dentistry – from clinical topics such as digital smile design, the execution of rehabilitative dentistry and photography, through to more business oriented sessions looking at how to maximise the success of a dental practice in today’s profession.

Not only an unparalleled educational opportunity, the BACD Annual Conference is also one of the year’s best events for delegates to meet and network with likeminded, impassioned professionals. With plenty of opportunities to discuss and share techniques, advice and tips, the conference is just as much a social event as an instructive one. What’s more, delegates can expect an exciting and eclectic trade show, where they can learn about some of dentistry’s most cutting edge technology, equipment and materials.
