The achievement award will be presented at a UK awards ceremony celebrating the latest technologies, outstanding business achievements and international success across the UK Life Sciences sector.

This year’s event takes place on June 13th and Dentisan is delighted to announce the shortlisting of its parent company Quadralene, as one of the finalists nominated for the Medilink East Midlands Export Achievement award. The nomination comes on the back of a significant increase in international sales for the company, with products now sold in 41 countries worldwide. In 2012 overseas sales increased by 70 per cent and are forecast to rise by a further 50 per cent this year, with all of this growth being generated by work in the healthcare sector.

This is not the first time Dentisan has been associated with the Medilink awards – two years ago they received the top award for “Outstanding Achievement” for their collaborative work with University of Nottingham School of Biosciences in developing Bioclear, a biofilm remover for Dental Unit Water Lines.

Medilink is a networking organisation for the healthcare and bioscience sector with more than 3,400 contacts in over 600 organisations representing all aspects of the sector, including private and public institutions

Managing director of Dentisan Andy Corley says:

“This nomination provides further external validation of the hard work and foresight of our whole team and the quality of our products. In just five years we have established Dentisan as a leading competitor in the UK dental infection control market and we are delighted to be successfully taking our message of innovation, education and compliance to international markets throughout the world.”
