However earlier this year some of its equipment was looking less robust and when Dentaid put out a request for a service engineer to carry out a health check and vital repairs on the equipment in their Dentaid van, Henry Schein Dental answered the call, sending engineer Stuart Mullan, to give Dentaid’s equipment a new lease of life.
Stuart has a servicing and engineering pedigree that stretches way back and with over 15 years’ experience is one of Henry Schein Dental most knowledgeable and trusted engineers. Stuart has previously been involved in a number of Dentaid projects and was delighted to spend a day at their Southampton offices where the Dentaid van is kept.
The specially designed van houses a fully functioning dental surgery meaning that dental care can be quickly delivered to wherever it is needed in the UK.
Andrew Evans, strategic director at Dentaid, was very grateful for Henry Schein Dental’s help:
“In our area of charitable work we are only as good as the equipment we have at our disposal. Henry Schein Dental’s willingness to give us Stuart’s time and expertise for a whole day was very generous and will enable us to continue to provide much needed dental care to deprived communities and to those who are unable to access care for themselves.”
