Responsible for establishing the BDIA’s award winning initiative tackling counterfeit and non-compliant dental equipment, and leading industry discussions on the development and implementation of the Medical Device Regulations, Edmund is in an ideal position to ensure that the dental industry’s voice is heard.
Edmund will be giving a presentation at the National Dental Nursing Conference 2018, which is being held in Blackpool on November 16 and 17. Edmund’s presentation, which meets GDC development outcome C, aims to outline what the BDIA is and does, the regulatory and legal issues relating to manufacturers and suppliers of dental devices and instruments. He will also give examples of counterfeit dental equipment and materials and alert attendees to the potential risks of counterfeit and non-compliant dental equipment.
The Conference will offer 8 hours of verifiable CPD over the two days. Dental nurses, and other members of the dental team, can attend either or both days. There is a discounted rate for current BADN members, for student dental nurses and for those booking before the end of September.
