Health and safety award
mydentist, one of the largest providers of NHS dentistry in the UK, has won the gold award at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Health and Safety Awards 2017, for the third consecutive year.
mydentist, which treats more than seven million patients a year across a network of 680 UK practices, will be presented with the prestigious award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
Steve Williams, clinical services director for mydentist, said, “We are delighted to have won RoSPA’s gold award for the third year running.
“The award is a true reflection of the hard work of our dedicated team of professionals in ensuring we provide second to none care and safety.
“We take pride in providing clinically excellent, safe and welcoming dentistry to all our patients, and we’re pleased to receive recognition for these efforts.”
Gold awards, president’s awards and orders of distinction are presented by RoSPA to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards are now in its 61st year.
